Log 1, arrival. I Farquid Mandoser, have arrived on the swamp planet Murkosia. My purpose is to document all living creatures I find and report any potential intelligent life to ILO. The first creature that I’ve encountered is a small herbivore with one big eye on top of its head. The importance of this eye seems to be sensing light levels while the creature is buried. The creature possesses a split jaw and a front arm that splits into two at the elbow. The creatures’ diet consists primarily of a small tree, this tree though is quite strange, scans show that it doesn’t photosynthesize, making the source of this plant’s food unknown, I’ll have to keep an eye on this plant. As for the name of the creatures, I think I’ll call them the shroom heads.
