THE ARTIFACT

Gardeners are the intelligent species that inhabit Euphoria. They are about 6ft tall, possess four limbs, and see via a singular ocular organ. Gardeners take care of Euphoria and all the creatures she’s made of. They have a vast understanding of all the complex inner workings of Euphoria; this and the use of various tools allow the gardeners to provide expert care to their living home. Gardeners are the evolutionary cousins to many transmitter and receiver species. This allows gardeners to easily communicate with the other organisms of Euphoria as well as making the gardener's language purely telepathic. While gardeners are generally peaceful, they will show hostility towards other megacellular organisms or beings from other megacellular organisms. This is because gardeners are like the white blood cells of Euphoria with their intelligence spurring from the complexity of their bodily role. This means that gardeners don’t have a complex society, nor do they leave their host with the few individuals that do decide to go being considered outcasts.
