Human blood is the most toxic substance in the universe, with the only two biological species immune being the lacopus and humans themselves. There are three reasons why human blood is so dangerous. First, human blood contains many strange inorganic materials from metals, plastics, other poisons, and even radioactive substances. The reason this is in the blood is that these materials are present in the substances that humans gain nutrients from. Humans themselves are unaffected by the materials in their bloodstream as they have grown accustomed to this lifestyle. The second reason their blood is so dangerous is the immune system. Humans have the strongest immune system in the galaxy, this is no surprise seeing how spread out they are and how many other species they interact with. The human immune system can adapt immediately to foreign substances and self-replicate to quickly outnumber an infection. The brain has direct input over the immune system and will tell it to not attack foreign bodies if it’s not a threat, however, as a failsafe, when the immune system receives no input from the brain it will go berserk and attack every foreign body it detects. So, if a drop of blood hits the body of a different species the immune cells within will mass replicate and attack the body, killing the victim within seconds. Humans are immune to this as their blood is modular and can recognize if the cells are that of a human or lacopus, thus not attacking. The final reason Human blood is so dangerous is that it can spread. Immune cells stay alive until their environment is unsuitable, which means corpses can still carry immune cells for hours after death causing the potential for a small plague to break loose. It is for those reasons that human blood is taken very seriously and spillage is to be acted upon immediately. If a human is bleeding cleaning and sterilizing the spilled blood takes much higher priority than helping the bleeding human, quickly stop the bleeding and let their natural regeneration heal them while the blood is dealt with. If a large amount of human blood is spilled or loose in the area, then a sign will be present warning others of the danger. If someone is caught dealing or carrying human blood without a proper reason, then they will be killed on sight. This extends to humans who aren’t careful with their injuries.
