Log 5 Frills. We are in no apparent danger from the visitors on the side of our rocky shelter, our height and thin bodies made us a less than appealing meal and the sound of Droid charging up his beam alone was enough to keep the predators away from our current encampment. As I previously noticed these predators are very close relatives of Shroom heads, due to this and a feature I will get into later I will call this species the Frilled shroom heads.
Why do you talk like that in your logs?
Shut it. Anyways, the Frilled shroom heads are a species of predatory pack hunters that are highly adapted to climbing cliff walls. The long slender body, strong finger strength, and prehensile tail all serve to aid them while climbing the desert walls. The most notable feature of this species is the frill. Within holes in the skull sit six long red strands made of keratin; these strands sit above the skull and curve around it when not in use, when a Frilled shroom head is threatened or in the shade they will shoot out these flaps to gain intimidation and release heat. Another very notable feature of this species is that it’s the first animal I’ve seen on Murkosia to have scales, a thick set of large scales line the back while everything besides the underbelly has smaller pointed scales. This seems to provide not only protection but also traps moisture and keeps sand out of the skin. Their main prey is small creatures living in the caves and various avian creatures, the fangs make me thing that their venomous however…
Ngh (falling is heard) DAMMIT
*sigh* You know maybe if you didn’t stay in zero-g all the time at your workshop you wouldn’t be struggling to walk in basic gravity.
I can walk fine, it’s this suit that’s giving me trouble. Why is mine so big and bulky while yours is thin?
Because I’m used to this planet’s conditions and have a healthy life unlike you.
Why do these suits have to go so far up? Not even the Fertility Protection Module at work is this intrusive.
I.L.O is big on not leaving any impact on the local wildlife now or in the future, they don’t want some kind of Spermeste outbreak happening.
Just neuter all the workers and have no risk.
Well some people want to have kids and raise a family. I’m not entirely against your logic though. Family isn’t a word either of us see fondly.
