Log 16, Georg’s friend. It seems that the ice head Georg has found himself a new buddy on the plateau. His friend is a specialized species of cydroped that I haven’t seen before. This species is small and mainly eats the many carcasses in the plateau. The most unique thing Is the mouths; the mouths of these cydropeds has evolved into claws. These claws are used to pick off pieces of food from bodies. They seem to bury themselves at nighttime though. This must be to protect against predators. I’ll pull an all nighter in hopes of seeing these nocturnal predators.
